Ways To Suvarnabhumi Airport – New Thailand International Airport

Suvarnabhumi Airport is a new international airport of Thailand opening since September 2006. The word “Suvarnabhumi” means the land of gold. Since the old international airport of Thailand named Don Muang Airport is very old and small. It cannot be expanded to build more buildings and runways. Also, it is located in the city where many people live around, and the traffic is very bad in rush hours. The new international airport, Suvarnabhumi, serves all needs and solves those problems at Don Muang Airport. The new airport is located around 50 kilometers away from the center of Bangkok metropolitan area. Currently, the sky train is being built to transport passengers from the center of Bangkok to the airport. It is very fast and convenient.

Before the sky train will be used in few years, there are currently five ways to get to Suvarnabhumi International Airport. In the south of the airport, there is a big four-lane road connecting to Bangna-Trad road and Burapawitee express way. People can get to the airport terminal using this way by Service Road, passing Long-term parking lots, Public Transportation Center, and turn to the road to the terminal. This is one of the main ways to get to the international airport especially those automobiles which come from Chalerm Mahanakorn express way (first Bangkok express way) or from Bang Plee, Pak Nam or Sam Rong areas.

In the northeast of the airport, another big four-lane road is connected to On-Nuch road. People can get to the airport from this road and use airport road to Service Road. Then pass the Long-term parking lots and Public Transportation Center, and turn to the road to the airport terminal. For people who come from Srinakarin road, they can also use this way.

In the west of airport, there is a big four-lane road connecting to King Kaew road. It is one of the ways from Teparak road. People can use this way from Bangplee-Ladkrabang road and turn to King Kaew road. This road is under construction.

In the northwest of the airport, a big six-lane road is connected to escalated Rom Klao road and King Kaew road. People can use this way by passing Duty Free Area and turning to the road to the terminal. This is the main way for the automobiles from On-nuch road, Suvintawong road and Chalongkrung road. Trucks from Ladkrabang industrial area and ICD on Chao Khun Taharn road can also use this way to the new airport.

In the north of the airport, an escalated wide eight-lane road is connected to Motorway. This road brings people to the front of the terminal directly. The road will expand to ten lanes when getting to the airport area. This is the biggest and main way to the international airport. It is very convenient for people who would like to park their own vehicles coming from the northern area of Bangkok including Rangsit, Ram intra and Ramkamhang. People can drive to the Motorway from the outer ring road, Rama 9 road and Srirach express way.

How To Shop In Thailand

By: lar

If you haven’t booked transportation ahead of time, your first financial may be with a taxi driver at Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

Some cabbies will use their meter; others will want a flat rate without using the meter. This will be the first time you will get to use your bargaining skills.

The taxi driver may ask for 500 baht. You counter with 300. He comes back with 400 Baht. You agree providing he pays the tolls and the 50 baht surcharge. If you don’t want to go through this, insist he use the meter. I prefer to bargain as it gets me in the mood for the rest of the trip.

Some things can be bargained and others cannot. You will just have to feel your way around. I will try to offer some pointers.

You may be able to bargain a bit for your hotel room if you are planning on an extended stay. A meal in a restaurant cannot be argued.

If you plan to buy some goodies for yourself and your friends the best thing to do is spend a day or two walking around and making mental notes of prices on the streets.

Knowing ballpark prices is the only way to negotiate prices. You have to know the approximate prices on the streets. Otherwise you will be ripped of.

What you want to do is select an item, get the best price possible, and then go in for the kill. Tell the vendor to lower the price and you will buy 10 of them. The price should drop.

Another tactic is the "walk away". You can argue and argue, go back and forth, and when you don’t get you price, just walk away. The price should drop or the vendor will hurl some cuss words at you. Either way, no big deal. There are many vendors with the same items.

Being the first customer is always a good deal. The Thai's believe that making a sale to the first customer of the day is good luck. Not making a sale is a disaster. So, hit the vendors when they open and you should get some really good prices.

One other way to get a good deal is to have a Thai girlfriend that you trust. Take her out with you when you are shopping for yourself. Identify items that you want and then send her out a day or two later to buy them. She will get the Thai price as opposed to the foreigner, or farang, price.

Speaking the language helps lower the prices. You don’t have to go through all of the back and forth bartering. If you are a foreigner and can speak Thai, you will knock time and prices down quickly.

Last tip is to go to the Thai markets. There are markets in every city in Thailand. Some are weekend markets, some are night markets, and some are daily. These are mainly geared toward the local Thai's but we foreigners can get great deals there too.

Have fun, smile a lot, and shop until you drop.

The All Inclusive Luxury Motor Yacht Charter

By: Jack Blacksmith

What is so unique about a luxury motor yacht charter? The list goes on and on, but the most poignant trait may be it is the only vacation you will ever take where you get both the control of calling all the shots and the pampering of an all inclusive vacation package. Whether you choose a motor boat or sailboat charter you will be on the trip of a lifetime. Hire a crew to make your vacation even more carefree and you’ll never travel any other way again.

Destinations of the Sea

A typical vacation for you may have been to some pretty exciting or peaceful destinations. Chances are you booked your flight and hotel online or through a travel agent then anxiously awaited your vacation. You fly to a specific airport then perhaps rent a car to use public transportation. Next you see all the sites within a day’s drive of your hotel, hope your flight home and it all becomes a distant memory as you try desperately to recuperate from your adventure.

When travelling aboard a luxury motor yacht charter the experience is entirely different. First and foremost you are not limited by geography and you don’t have to worry about booking a hotel for each city you visit. Your luxury suite travels with you along with your personal chef and butler. On top of that, all of your closest friends and family can come along.

Luxury yacht vacation packages that also include a flight to the departing port can range from weekend trips around the Caribbean Islands and the Bahamas to week long travels to the Mediterranean sea. Generally the Caribbean is reached via Miami and European Islands and those in the Mediterranean are reached by a number of different departure cities. The all inclusive trip is yours for the designing. You choose where you will stop and how long you will stay. There are no other passengers to accommodate other than those you have invited so the choice is yours.

What Is It Like Aboard a Luxury Motor Yacht Charter?

Imagine the finest hotel with the best restaurant in the city at your disposal 24/7 and you only begin to see the luxury of a privately chartered cruise. Now add to that the best a private spa has to offer with exercise equipment, a spa tub and steam room and refreshing dips in a private pool. Now you are getting closer to the luxury of a private charter.

Accommodations are not the only aspect of luxury. Service that is top notch and available around the clock adds to the overall experience. A well trained and knowledgeable crew is always at your disposal. This includes the skipper, a first mate, the finest chefs, and discretely efficient housekeeping services. After experiencing such service you’ll want to take the crew home with you so you can extend the luxury of this type of travel.

Make a date with luxury by taking an online tour and reserving one of the finest sailing vessels on the sea. Your next trip will be the standard by which all others are measured.

Green Valley Spa

By: Amy Covington

Green Valley Spa is the ultimate destination for eco-adventure travelers who want to exercise more than their major muscle groups. In addition to all the latest fitness techniques like Cardio La Cha Cha (a total body exercise derived from Latin Merengue, Salsa, and Samba dance moves); fitball; Pilates; and Tai Chi, Green Valley Spa takes guests on a spiritual workout.

Get started with an Aura & Chakra Field Analysis, which uses color therapy and energy medicine to measure, analyze and display an accurate representation of your emotional-energetic state, and aura and chakra energy centers. You'll get a 24-page report, complete with your aura and chakra photos, plus a detailed account of your current energetic state, and personal profile.

Energize your body and mind with a guided "spirit hike" among the red rocks, trees, water, and flowers of Southern Utah. After you're done getting all worked up, come back down to earth with Rapunzel's Secret Hot Oil Treat. Green Valley Spa do their treatments right; for this heavenly treatment you'll rest under a willow tree"that's right, a willow tree" while your head, neck, and shoulders are gently massaged with a special cream, scalp tenderly stimulated with fingertips, and a warm pack applied to the hair.

While the marvelous ingredients work wonders, you get to bask in the warm breeze of the fresh outdoors. Supposedly when it's over you'll feel like a fairy godmother brushed you with her magic wand (maybe sitting under a willow tree has something to do with it?). Want something more substantial? Try a Painted Desert Clay treatment for enlivening dull skin. Allowed to dry and then brushed away, the clay reduces excess water weight and strengthens skin tone. When you're not getting rubbed down or worked out, spend time enjoying the views from your suite or learning something new. Sure, you're on vacation but why not broaden your horizons?

Learn to cook the "Green Valley Way" or take a golf lesson. Concerned about longevity? Of course you are! Why else would you be at a health spa in the middle of nowhere getting wrapped in clay? Take a class presented by Dr. Gordon Reynolds, where he'll share strategies for longer, healthier living. After such an amazing experience you can't go home empty handed. Take home a piece of Green Valley with the salt, clays, sand, and vegetation used in your treatments.

The Spa Break

By: Celia Namart

How about a nice weekend escape, a visit to s romantic hotel or inn, and a few nice and calm candle lit dinners… this is almost any young adult dream in these days, some break off work, and time to completely relax and rest. The traditional weekend break was once a low cost, small hotel weekend which usually started on Friday night and ended on Saturday noon, today things have changed, the small hotel is usually replaced by a fashionable spa hotel or better yet a resort with a spa in it.

Spa services are what most weekend guests are looking for, it makes perfect sense to compliment your weekend away with a few body treatments that will take off that extra stress and anger that has been accumulating in you for the whole month. Spa treatments are not so cheap, but if you ever used one you would probably know that on some level they are well worth the money time and effort.

So there is no wonder that some people prefer to stay in a place that has the Spa treatment option in the facilities it offers, rather than having to go outside to look for a good treatment. On the other hand there are some places that you will want to research the Spa in the location, because sometime the best sap is not located inside an hotel ,and is not associated with any of the hotels in the area. The best example is the city of Spa in Belgium, this is the place that started it all, and you will find that the main Spa location is not inside a hotel but a facility by itself.

Some Spa treatment centers are located near a place of interest or provide some special services, the dead sea spa services have a large variety of treatments that are unique for that area of the world, a place rich with minerals and salts, and the spa uses these in its treatments, so you can research the place in which the spa is located in order to get a better idea on the unique things you can find at that location, not only special features are different from spa to spa but sometimes the people giving the treatments are also qualified in different arts. You should always try and research the level of professionalism the spa has, and that its employees have been properly trained for giving the treatments.

If you are looking for a weekend break with some spa treatments you should also think about the other things you want to do, if you had some sports in your mind you will need to think carefully of when you want to have your spa treatments so you don’t find yourself in bed relaxing just half an hour before your tee time, a spa weekend should be dedicated to relaxing and resting so keep that in mind when you make your plans, reserve in advance and have fun.

The Treasures Of Florence And Italy

By: Peter J. Mason

When you imagine Italy, it is really Florence Italy that you are seeing. That is because Florence is at the heart of Italy. It is a place filled with passions and indulgences that awaken all the senses. Visual masterpieces are there to behold and one almost begins to salivate at the thought of the Florentine cuisine. To make the most of your visit to Florence, you can learn a little here about where to stay, what to do, and what you can expect from the locals.

A Warm Welcome

The first thing you expect from your visit to Florence is a warm and hearty welcome. The local people are lovers of people and are not afraid to show it. It is not uncommon to be greeted at your villa by a someone’s “Nona” (grandmother) with a big hug and a hot plate of food – no matter what the time is when you arrive.

Next your accommodation at any price level will be clean and pristine. The linens and furnishing may not be the most luxurious in the lower costing rentals, but they will be freshly washed and painstakingly starched. It’s just the Italian way to keep their homes extremely clean and they offer no less to their guests.

Some Choices on Where to Stay

There are some popular favourites within the city limits of Florence. The Savoy hotel, Florence, Italy is one of those. Here you will find five star accommodations within walking distance of two of Florence’s most popular attractions – the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio.

Another Florence hotel popular among tourists is the Westin Excelsior. It is also located close to the most visited and historic attractions and offers rooms and services American’s are most comfortable with. In addition to these highest rated hotels, visitors will be comfortable at such centrally located lodgings as the Hotel Rivoli or Palazzo Galletti.

For extended stays in Florence you may want to look into apartment or villa rentals. Apartments can be found within the city limits, while most villas are about 20-30 km outside the city. For travel to wine country and then back to the city, Florence car rental offices can accommodate your needs.

Apartments in Florence Italy are generally small, but efficient. You will find a small kitchen is the norm, but they provide enough space to cook simple meals. For a short term rental, they are more than adequate and provide a good home base for exploring the entire Tuscany region.

Downtown Florence Italy is one of the most historically significant cities in Italy. Here tourists come to take in the Uffizi Gallery, the Ponte Vecchio Bridge crossing the River Arno, and the St. Croce Chuch. In addition, there is the Duomo, the city’s Exhibition and Congress Centre. No visit to Florence Italy would be complete without feeding the pigeons at Boboli gardens or walking down the garden’s avenue lined with cypress trees dating back to the 1600s.

Florence is a city that needs more than a weekend to see it all. Plan on visiting during the most pleasant season between April and June and make sure you give yourself at least a week to enjoy the city and surrounding countryside.

Beating The Winter Blues In Aruba

By: Justin Burch

While snow is falling throughout the U.S., the Caribbean island of Aruba is enjoying never-ending summer. With an average annual temperature of 82°F (28°C), visitors are guaranteed a balmy climate regardless of season. In fact, no month has an average high temperature lower than 85°F (29°C) or higher than 89°F (32°C). Low temperatures typically range from 76°F (24°C) to 80°F (27°C), allowing visitors to enjoy the nightlife all year long. Yet, because so many of us suffer the winter blues at home, the travel season from December to April is the best time to take advantage of Aruba’s amazing climate.

Though Aruba lies close to the equator, a consistent eastern trade wind cools the island and prevents storms from hovering over the island. As a result, Aruba averages a mere 18 inches of precipitation a year, with most rain falling between October and January. This trade wind also creates impeccable conditions on the eastern coast for sports such as windsurfing. On the other hand, the calm waters of the western coast are great for scuba diving and snorkeling. The sun even rises and sets at nearly the same time every day, allowing visitors to enjoy a majestic Caribbean site any time of year. Perhaps best of all, the island is never threatened by tropical storms.

One of the biggest advantages of visiting Aruba during January and February is the ongoing Carnival celebration. Beginning with the New Year, Carnival is a nonstop festival highlighted by parades, live music and unique cultural performances. The Carnival celebration peaks with the Grand Parade - now in its 53rd year - on the Sunday before Ash Wednesday. If you were wondering just how important Carnival is in Aruba, take note that the island has declared the following Monday a national day of rest!
These winter months are also a great time to explore Aruba’s Arikok National Park, a one-of-a-kind nature preserve covering nearly 20% of the island. With miles of hiking trails and numerous exotic species you won’t see anywhere else, Arikok National Park is an essential stop on your Aruba vacation regardless of when you visit.

Though it may seem strange to lie out on the beach in mid-February, that is exactly what makes Aruba so enticing. Aruba's beaches regularly rank among the cleanest, widest and most beautiful in the Caribbean. On the island’s southwestern coast, travelers will find one beach after another, each with its own unique atmosphere and diverse activities. Nearly all of the beaches are public and plenty offer water sports equipment, swimming and diving.

In addition to outstanding shopping opportunities, Aruba’s capital Oranjestad features a number of unique museums and historic sites. Oranjestad is, in fact, a bustling colonial capital during the high season, with plenty of tours and activities available. Outside the capital, you will find a wealth of historic architecture and remnants of Aruba’s colonial past. As Aruba’s high season corresponds with the States’ winter months, activities can be harder to find in the summer. Yet, the tourism off season – from April until the beginning of the winter holiday season – can be a great time for families and budget-conscious travelers to visit Aruba, as plenty of discounts are available. However, keep in mind that some tour operators may have limited or no service during parts of the off season, while stores and restaurants generally close earlier. Aruba’s summer months are also enjoyed by more European and South American visitors, though Americans are still the most represented tourist group.

A winter escape to Aruba can be a dream come true for Americans trapped in the snow. Every season in Aruba will deliver great weather and great fun.

Romance in Tortola, British Virgin Islands

By: EKeralla

Tortola is one of the many British Virgin Islands. Just 60 miles east of Puerto Rico lay the West Indies. These islands are accessible from the air via San Juan or by a 15-mile ferry via St. Thomas (approximately $50/person/round trip). The islands were named one of the top ten Caribbean islands for 2006 in the Conde Nast Traveler. The 12 inhabited islands have villas, apartments and resorts to choose from. Finding the most romantic on each island is my personal quest. I specialize in Romantic travel and I try to find at least one great property on each island I visit to share with my clients.

The BVI, as those in the know refer to them, are an overseas territory of the United Kingdom even thought the U.S. dollar is the only legal tender. To most visitors, the islands are really all about sailing. One can charter a yacht with a crew or attend a recognized teaching school for sailing. For me, it was finding a romantic hotel to send my honeymoon and anniversary clients to visit.

A wedding in the British Virgin Islands will be memorable and stress-free. A marriage license is simple to arrange and the certificate is valid in the United States. I was able to witness one of those stress-free weddings at the cozy and romantic Sugar Mill Hotel. The rain forced the wedding to take place under the large, tree-shaded alfresco gazebo. With twinkling lights, flowers and ribbons the ambiance was definitely romantic.

The Sugar Mill Hotel is set in a lush tropical garden among the ruins of a 17th century sugar plantation. According to Conde Nast Traveler 2006, the Sugar Mill Hotel is one of the top 5 in the Caribbean. The critically acclaimed cuisine in the historic stone building once housed the plantation’s rum distillery. The food is a culmination of Caribbean ingredients meets California cuisine in an imaginative, award-winning menu that changes nightly.

Across the street from a small white sand beach in reef-protected water this resort is located on the west side of the island. Travelers from the U.S. must remember that driving is on the left side of the road. I suggest a taxi from the airport. Car rental can be arranged at the Sugar Mill Hotel if one is so inclined.

The hotel has a honeymoon suite located very near the restaurant. Although superbly appointed, this stand-alone unit is too close to parking and the pool for me. I much rather prefer the Plantation House Suites. They are designed to reflect the charm of the traditional Caribbean architecture, with fine stonework, breezy porches and lacy gingerbread trim. These rooms are just a few steps from the beach. With an open plan layout, each master suite has a king size bed, large bathroom with double sinks a living room are with sofa and chairs, cable TV, VCR and kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Steep hillsides give all guest great views of the ocean and some neighboring islands.

The honeymoon package for 7 nights includes deluxe accommodations, bottle of fine champagne, 3-day jeep rental, 1-hour massage, full day sail to neighboring islands including lunch and drinks, gourmet picnic for two, a bottle of Sugar Mill rum, welcome cocktail and a copy of the Sugar Mill Caribbean cookbook written by Jeff & Jinx Morgan – Bon Appetit columnists. Breakfast and dinner can be included in your daily charge.

If low key and relaxing is what you are looking for than this island resort is for you. Not for the physically challenged, this hotel is for a few special people whom enjoy getting to know the staff and other guests.

A Caribbean Vacation Destination Unknown To Many

by: Gordon Steven

As a Caribbean Vacation Destination Los Roques an archipelago of Venezuela has a lot going for it. Los Roques Archipelago is about one hundred miles north of Caracas, and is a beautiful and ecologically important group of islands which was declared a National Park some thirty five years ago.

One of its attractions as a Caribbean Vacation Destination is its relative inaccessibility, it is probably one of the most remote places of the Caribbean Sea because you either have to sail there or get a flight from Caracas or Margarita or Maracaibo, not names that are very familiar to tourists, European ones at any rate.

What makes Los Roques such a wonderful place is the peace and quiet and the relative calmness of the incredibly colored sea. There are masses of lagoons, over fifty small islands, three hundred emerged sand banks and white coral sand, few of them ever occupied. The sky is almost permanently blue, there is very little rain, and is outside the Caribbean hurricane belt.

Added to this is the fact that Los Roques has the third largest coral reef in the world, this is as Christopher Columbus observed on discovering Los Roques in the fifteenth century a “True Paradise on Earth”.

As Los Roques is a National park this automatically prohibits building high rise hotels so visitors stay in local guesthouses on Gran Roques where you arrive by air or sea, and is the only place with permanent settlements. It is home to over one thousand two hundred people.

The visitors, and there are around fifty thousand a year, who come to Los Roques for a Caribbean vacation are normally attracted by the stunning beauty of the beaches, and of course to scuba dive and snorkel the coral reef. Sport fishing and windsurfing are other popular activities at Los Roques

The guesthouses, inns and Pousadas on Gran Roques tend to be very picturesque, and are probably a luxuriously refurbished old fisherman house. Lodging usually includes breakfast and dinner, and can range in price for as little as USD50 to USD200 per night per person. Some of the guesthouses also include in the price transfers to nearby islands, lunch, sunbeds, umbrellas and equipment for snorkeling.

You could also stay on a boat, or even camp in specially designated areas, but far and away the most popular option is to stay in a pousada.

Having said the only accommodation is on Gran Roques, you can get to a small cay called Rasqui where there is a small lodge with only two rooms, and is really a private island. You should also visit Water Cay known as Cayo de Agua, which is totally deserted and absolutely beautiful.

Why not visit Dos Mesquises where the Los Roques Scientific Foundation has a program involving adopting a turtle, and is well worth visiting.

Could you find a better Caribbean Vacation destination than Los Roques Venezuela, where there are no hurricanes, miles and miles of white sand beaches, countless uninhabited islands and coral reefs teeming with multicolored undersea life.

There’s simply nowhere like it in the Caribbean, but go now whilst it is still a secret.

The Top Selling Yachts Brands And Makes

By Vanessa A. Doctor Platinum Quality Author

The yacht, from the Dutch word Jach, which means to hunt, was originally defined as a light, fast sailing vessel used by the Dutch navy to track pirates and smugglers around and into the shallow seas of the Low Countries. The word was later used to describe a wider range of vessels, usually of private use, and powered by sail, power, or both, and used for pleasure cruising or racing. Generally, powered yachts are referred to as motor yachts to distinguish them from yachts with sail propulsion.

There are a number of yacht varieties, namely Day sailing yachts, Weekender yachts, Cruisers and Racing yachts. Day sailing yachts are usually small, below 20-foot (6 m) vessels. Generally called dinghies, they often have a retractable keel, centerboard, or daggerboard. Day sailing yachts do not have a cabin. Weekender yachts are small, below 30-foot (9.5 m) vessels. They often have twin keels or lifting keels, and this enables them to operate in shallow waters, and if needed, they could be "dry out" or become beached as the tide falls.

Cruisers are by the far the most popular yacht in private use, making up most of the 25- to 45-foot (7 m to 14 m) range. These boats can be quite complex in design, as designers try to find a balance between docile handling qualities, good light-wind performance, interior space and on-board comfort.

Racing yachts are generally used to reduce the wetted surface area, which creates drag, by keeping the hull light whilst having a deep and heavy bulb keel, allowing them to support a tall mast with a great sail area. Modern designs usually have a very wide beam and a flat bottom, to provide buoyancy preventing an excessive heel angle. A racing yacht can attain speeds of up to 35 knots, depending on good weather conditions.

In the European yachting market, manufacturers such as Azimut-Benetti, Feadship and Lürssen dominate the very top end of the yacht building market.

In the US, Catalina Yachts is a popular builder of fiberglass monohull sloop-rigged sailboats ranging in sizes from eight to 47 feet in length. It was founded in 1969 in Hollywood, California by Frank Butler. Catalina Yachts is one of the largest boat manufacturers in the world, with over 80,000 boats produced to date.

Though Catalina constructs boats from as small as eight feet under their Capri nameplate, the company is best known for its production of mid sized cruisers. The ocean-going Catalina 50 was their largest design, but has been discontinued and replaced by the 470. The boating firm is known for supporting their older models dating back to 1970 by providing any bolt on parts. Most original models are still in production, with substantial modifications, and there are examples of every Catalina model still in use.

Columbia Yachts is another popular US manufacturer of sailboats, with offices and manufacturing facilities in Southern California. Formerly known as Glass Marine Industries (GMI), they marketing their boats under the Columbia nameplate. The early models included the Columbia 24 and Columbia 29.

By 1964, the firm's sales passed $2.5 Million. In 1965, GMI changed its name to Columbia, and introduced the Columbia 50, at the time the world's largest fiberglass production sailboat. The Columbia 50's elegant beauty, exceptional comfort, and good race performance made this design a success. During the mid sixties Columbia produced a few motor yachts.

By the late 1960s, the company was the world's largest fiberglass sailboat manufacturer with manufacturing plants throughout the world. In September 2001, the firm was renamed the new Columbia Yacht Corporation, and produced the Columbia 30 Sports Yacht - with a Southern California OWC PHRF rating of 51.

Alaskan Cruises

By Rebecca Robbins Platinum Quality Author

When looking for a popular cruise destination, an Alaskan cruise should rate high on your lists of choices. Alaskan has quickly become one of the more popular cruise destinations, simply because it has something for everyone. Since the cruise season to Alaska is relatively short form May through September, the demand for these cruises is high and therefore so is the cost, but worth every bit of it. Naturally summer is the peak cruise season for an Alaskan cruise and the wonder and excitement of seeing the spectacular wildlife of the American wilderness from the veranda of your stateroom or from the deck of your ship is awesome.

The best way to truly take advantage of Alaska and its sites is to be sure and take a shore excursion. While admittedly many of the spectacular sights such as Glacier Bay National Park can also be seen from the deck aboard ship is best seen from the air. Depending on the stops on your ships itinerary, your choices of shore excursions will be many, each different and exciting. Sea Kayaking is available at several ports of call and is one of the best ways to get a look at the much of the sea life that inhabit Alaska. If you stop in Ketchikan, pleas take the Bear Viewing excursion, black and brown Grizzly Bears are abundant in the part of Alaska and can be seen in many locations from seaplane tours.

Lets not forget the Seaplane tour over Misty Fjords National Monument, this is said to be one of the most beautiful spots in Alaska, and it is. This was by far my most favorite sight to see, waterfalls that seemed to never stop was the most spectacular sight that I have ever seen. Don't forget the fishermen, Alaska has the best Salmon and Halibut fishing there is and you can have your catch cleaned steaked, freshly frozen and shipped home for you.

Some ships even offer you the option of having the chef cook it for your dinner that evening. Shore Excursion packages will range from moderate to pricey to down right expensive, but each is well worth the price you pay for seeing the wonders of Alaska.

A tour to Agra is a lifetime experience to remember forever as the tourist destinations within and around the city leave the travelers spellbound.

ferrying foreign tourists preferring to land at Agra airport instead of Delhi, the city's tourism
sector has received a major boost.
An average of two flights have been landing in Agra since the beginning of November, increasing
ourist inflows by as much as 60 per cent.
These tourists prefer to visit Agra alone, evident by the fact that they return to their
respective countries for further sightseeing or holidaying, instead of visiting other places in
the country, they say.

The new development has also brought some relief to locals involved in tourism-related trade, who
had been complaining of "the Delhi tourist lobby" allegedly discouraging foreign tourists from
staying overnight in Agra.
Now, more and more tourists are spending several days together in and around Agra.
